What does a website for selling gemstones need?
Each stone needs its own page with gem type, carat, size, colour, clarity, cut, origin and treatment, a certificate with the lab name, report number and a scan, and a video. Buyers also need filters, a secure card or PayPal checkout, and insured shipping costs shown before they pay.
Can I sell gemstones on Shopify?
Yes. Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento all work. A standard theme has no place for certificates, origin or treatment, and usually filters by price only. We add those fields and filters as part of your setup.
How do I show gem certificates on my store?
Each stone gets certificate fields on its product page: the lab, the report number and a scan of the report that buyers can open or download.
Can my store sell in US dollars?
Yes. Your store sells in one currency of your choice, such as US dollars, as part of setup. Showing each buyer prices in their own currency is an add-on, quoted for your markets.
How much does a gemstone store cost?
Store setup starts from LKR 400,000, one-time. Monthly management starts from LKR 35,000 per month, with a 6-month minimum. Your quote depends on how many stones you list, your markets and any trade features.
Do you grade or certify gemstones?
No. Grading and certificates come from you and your lab. We show them clearly on your store.
Do you bring buyers to my store?
No. Your marketing brings the demand. We build the store, connect payments and run it every month, so buyers can order and pay when they arrive.
Do you work with gem dealers in Sri Lanka?
Yes. Our team works from Colombo, Sri Lanka, for gem and jewellery businesses there and in other countries.
